Spartacus: A Game of Blood & Treachery (Review)

I’ve been meaning to do this review for quite a while now, and being as recently this game has been hitting our groups table a lot once again, I thought I’d better share my thoughts on it. As I’ve had this game for a while now, I have also acquired both the “Serpents and the Wolf” expansion set, as well as the recently released set of promo cards available from the GailForce nine web store.

My thoughts on both of those, and what they add to the base game will also be included in my ramblings.

Bub 2

Another quick post today, just to quickly show off another one of my zombies. As many of you regulars know, a little while ago I posted my version of the “Bub” zombie from George Romero’s “Day of the Dead”, which I made from one of Studio miniatures plastic zombie kits. See my post on him here

Well since then I have acquired and painted a fair few of Studios nice metal zombies, one of whom happens to be another representation of “Bub”. Being as this is a much nicer miniature than my previous “Bub”, I thought I’d quickly share it.

Pallets and Post Boxes

Nothing fancy today guys, just a couple of scratch built U.S style mail boxes and a few wooden pallets I quickly put together recently in order to help liven up the terrain in my zombie city.

First up, next to a Studio zombie for scale, are some simple wooden pallets made from coffee stirrers and match sticks. These are really quick and easy to put together, but rather than go into how I made them (mainly because I’m a bit lazy) I’ll just point you towards the same tutorial I followed from fellow zombie blogger snithchythedog.

Also very quick and simple to put together, we have some U.S style mail boxes. In essence, they are essentially a crude frame made from wooden lolly sticks, which are then covered with card and then painted.

Anyway that’s all for now but I’d like to finish up quickly with a big thanks to all you guys. Particularly those who visit regularly and take the time to comment on my posts, as it seems I have recently surpassed the 25k view mark. Quite a nice milestone to have achieved, so once again, thanks guys.
